Kaly, a myAgro field extension agent in Senegal, harvests peanuts alongside farmer Lamine in the village of SinthiouDamba. Farmers continually tell us that the agents’ weekly presence in our program villages, along with the training, technical support and encouragement they provide – has been the most important aspect of our program to them. This is particularly true during harvest, which is no easy task in the 110-degree heat.
