Sekou Coulibaly who was so excited about myAgro’s layaway program planted last week 2 varieties of maize with myAgro. Farmers are really busy but hopeful for a strong harvest in a few months.
Even though Sekou is planting many, many hectares with his family, the focus is on their myAgro field – “myAgro is the priority,” Sekou told us. His myAgro parcel (1/2 HA of maize and 1/8 HA of sorghum) are the only parts of his field that is using fertilizer and certified seed. With strong rains he can expect a harvest that is two times that of his other fields.
