Welcome to Bamako, myAgro Team!

Bonjour! Hello! Ka sènè soro yiriwa!

From February 13th to 15th, myAgro held its bi-monthly organization-wide onboarding at its headquarters in Bamako, Mali. Staff, new and experienced, local and global, Francophone and Anglophone, came together to break bread (or more accurately, to scoop rice) and learn about myAgro’s history and future. Check out some of our staff photos from the trip!

Learning how myAgro tests and measures the impact of various seeds and planting techniques.

Led by Anushka, the orientation included field visits to myAgro agents, vendors and farmers to see firsthand how the myAgro model enables farmers to invest their own funds in high-quality seed, fertilizer, tools and training to significantly increase their harvests and income.

Presentations were given simultaneously in both French and English.

Jorre, myAgro’s senior agronomist, teaches staff how his team finds the best methods for planting and harvesting.

Staff from around the world engaged in team-building exercises and forged new relationships. From sunny California to sunnier Sikasso, myAgro team members left with strong bonds, stronger morale, and lasting memories.
