Our Model of Impact
All of our products are designed for the farmers and with the farmers.
Innovate
Any proposed changes to our product line starts with desk research and collaboration with research institutes. We develop hypotheses to take to the field. All of our agricultural innovations are meant to optimize the farmer’s investment and get us closer to our North Star.
Test and Scale
All innovations are first launched on the myAgro test fields. We develop prototypes that are then piloted with 30-100 farmers and closely monitored. If successful, we expand the trial to a few hundred farmers, measure the impact (Return on Income), and develop training materials.
Measure and Evaluate
If the second farmer trials are successful, we fine tune the product and plan for its adoption into our core product line. We train our staff and farmers on best practices and monitor results. Finally, our M&E team measures the impact, speaks to farmers, and provides feedback to the agriculture team for further improvements.
The myAgro model increases net income by $150 – $300 per farmer.
