Field tests in Gwelekoro and Djolikoroba
Team Semoir (“seeding machine”) is hard at work, coordinating efforts to ensure a smooth roll-out for the 2014 planting campaign. Our Malian metal workers produced 6 unique models that have been tested in 2 locations by 15 myAgro farmers.
The seeding machines are being updated based on the feedback given by our farmer-testers. Already, the farmers have suggested a chain-less model with redesigned wheels that keep better contact with the ground. Our metal workers in Bamako have risen to the challenge and provided unique solutions to our farmer’s concerns. Further tests and modifications will occur during the month of September.
