What do you like the most about myAgro?
“The inputs, the payment system, and the visits by myAgro staff” – Ramata, female early adopter, Kolonding
myAgro offers not only a flexible payment system, but many other components to help our farmers. Some of the most popular aspects are our semoir machines for planting, the certified seed, the micro-dose method, and a reliable early delivery date. Our farmers tell the story:
In your opinion, how does myAgro help farmers?
“myAgro helps us with agriculture. They brought semoirs that plant seed and fertilizer at the same time and we receive our inputs early” – Ramata, female early adopter, Kolonding
“myAgro brought us corn, peanuts, millet, and sorghum seed and fertilizer and it’s certified seed. Also a semoir with which you can plant seed and fertilizer at the same time. Previously, we didn’t have these semoirs and to use fertilizer you had to first plant the seeds then add fertilizer two days later so there’s a bid difference between the myAgro method and ours”– Abdoulaye, male early adopter, Kolonding
“myAgro gave use little test parcels and really it went well. They field is very clean and there is also follow-up by field agents. Also, they have certified seed. Previously we cultivated a lot of corn, but we didn’t get a good enough harvest because we didn’t have good inputs. Also, we didn’t use fertilizer. Now, with myAgro, I know that we will succeed because for all the farmers, it’s only myAgro that helps them. They are very happy.” – Mamadou, male village chief, Séoro
How is myAgro different than other methods for gaining access to farming inputs?
“There is a big difference because myAgro delivers inputs early and also the seed is certified. On the other hand, for other methods it was not easy to have the money to purchase [inputs] and they came late” – Ramata, female early adopter, Kolonding.
“For me, the differences are their method – before we didn’t use these methods – and also if you keep seed to re-use the next year you will have problems during the rainy season because there will be insects or you will sell it to buy food, but with myAgro you pay little by little for the cards to have certified seed and fertilizer.” – Abdoulaye, male early adopter, Kolonding
“Personally, I like the methods of myAgro because you receive the seeds early and they are certified seeds. Also, with the payment system you pay little by little so that’s something I salute.” – Mamadou, male village chief, Séoro

“I like everything about myAgro because myAgro is agriculture so I like everything, especially the corn seed. Before I cultivated 2 to 3 hectares, but I didn’t have enough of a harvest because I didn’t use enough fertilizer and to have a good harvest you have to use fertilizer.”– Abdoulaye, male early adopter, Kolonding
“The input delivery because they do not deliver late so I lake that about myAgro because with the government we do not receive seeds early so that’s a problem for us farmers, but with myAgro everything goes well – we have good inputs and we receive them early.” – Mamadou, male village chief, Séoro
